On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, your driver-guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you’ll receive a short briefing about your safari adventure. Overnight stay in Nairobi on a bed-and-breakfast basis.
After breakfast, drive north to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, arriving at Sweetwaters Serena Camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in this sanctuary known for its Big Five population and East Africa’s largest concentration of black rhinos. Visit the chimpanzee sanctuary and spot wildlife across the grasslands. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
After breakfast, head to Lake Nakuru National Park with a stop at the scenic Thomson’s Falls. Arrive at your lodge for lunch, then enjoy an afternoon game drive. Search for black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffalo, zebras, elands, and flamingos when the lake levels are favourable. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After breakfast, drive to the Maasai Mara National Reserve (approx. 5.5 hours). Check into your luxury camp, have lunch, and head out for your first game drive in the reserve. Return for dinner and overnight at the camp.
Spend the day exploring the Maasai Mara on game drives, with packed lunch provided. Look out for the Big Five and, between July and September, the spectacle of the Great Migration. Optional activities include a cultural visit to a Maasai village. Dinner and overnight at the luxury camp.
After breakfast, check out and return to Nairobi. Alternatively, opt for a scheduled flight to Wilson Airport (extra cost). Depending on your schedule, enjoy lunch in Nairobi before your transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
